These are probably the most honest and great mechanics in the North East if not the country. We were in a huge jam and they helped quickly and at a great price. We aren't from the area and I am so incredibly happy we found them. If I'm in the area again there's no where else I'd ever want to go!!! 😃😃

I was traveling from out of town with my family and had developed a high pitched squeak from the rear of our van. With 20+ hours of driving ahead, I wanted to get it looked at. Dan Kennedy worked me into the busy schedule at his garage, diagnosed the problem(s) and took care of the most urgent item for a reasonable price.

I’ve had an ongoing issue with my 2015 jeep wrangler and Dan wouldn’t stop until he found the what the problem was (also helped with a few other things that came up in between). They are honest and very reasonable and quick and you can’t ask for more than that! Thanks so much!

This is the second car I have brought to these wonderful people for brakes. I went to the dealership they wanted twice as much for brakes and rotors as well as other repairs they wanted to make to my car. Dan answered my call for help in a gear head forum, told me to come in the next day & had the issue resolved in 15 minutes when the local Sullivan tire & dodge dealer said "good luck dude " after trying their best. I asked what I owed him after he took care of my truck & he didn't even want to charge me, instead empathizing with the issue I was having with my truck. I insisted he take money & he said hed by his team lunch with it. First real positive experience where the vendor went above & beyond since the pandemic. Great shop, solid dude. Customer for life.

This company is amazing. Dan helped me in a huge way when my entire exhaust system fell off my car. It was fixed the same day I brought it in and at a really good price. I will be bringing all my car issues here.

I went to Kennedys for the first time last week to see if I could get my air conditioning recharged. I was told to come in about 9, so I did that a few days later and when I arrived at 845am, my car was serviced immediately and it only took 20 minutes as promised. The price was exactly as posted outside for a/c service with no hidden costs. Very friendly, professional and accommodating. I will be returning here in the future should I need any major repairs. I am completely satisfied with the work performed.

I dropped off my car at Kennedy's for them to investigate my check engine light (which had been on and off intermittently). Within just a few hours, they had identified the problem (a leaf triggering an air intake sensor) and cleaned out the air intake system. When I came to collect the car, I expected to pay something on the order of $50-$100, but they told me the repair was FREE, given how minor the issue was. I almost cannot believe how honest and straightforward Kennedy's staff were. Without a doubt, I will be going to them for any future repair needs.

I Just took my vehicle into Kennedy's Auto Repair. I was a little bit leery. I just moved to town and I've had bad experiences with other mechanics in the past. The vehicle had a clicking noise coming from the front end while turning. This is typically caused by a bad CV joint. Fully expecting to pay for a repair job when I dropped off my vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was only a misaligned hubcap. They could have easily tried to make up a problem and charge me for a repair, but they didn't. They also could have charged me a diagnostic fee for their time, which would be totally fair, but they didn't. (I'm sure if the diagnostic was much more involved they would have charged me) Instead, they told me the truth about the problem and didn't charge me anything. Rather than taking the opportunity to make a few dollars on a diagnostic fee, they invested that money into something much more valuable. They proved to me that they run a trustworthy business that is conducted with honesty and integrity. So... can you guess where I'm going to take my vehicle next time I have a problem? You guessed it! Fair and honest pricing fixed right

Let me be the first to say that I was probably the worst customer Kennedy's has ever had. First, I bought a remanufactured engine from a third party and had it sent to them. Kennedy's said it wa as no problem to install it. Well, the engine did not work properly, and I had to order another one and do the process all over. Without complaint, they went along with it and completed the second job in a timely fashion. Afterward, my engine started leaking oil. I sent it back and they told me i needed a new intake manifold. So, I ordered a used one and brought it to the shop. Mind you, my Jeep was in the shop for WEEKS. They didnt charge a storage fee, and were polite about how long it was taking for the manifold to arrive. When I finally got the manifold, I was told by them that it was no good. I cut my losses and decided to trade the car in, but Kennedy's still charged me nothing for the labor that went into the manifold job. They were class acts and deserve a pat on the back for their services. Thank you, guys!

I was referred here through a friend. I came in on an emergency basis within a few days during the new year and holiday Christmas break. Dan Kennedy was the most politest person to work with he established that I had a cracked rear heater core . It was fixed within hours I picked up my vehicle I had another issue with misfiring . I called him and explain my situation with my personal life and hectic schedule he told me to come in on a Saturday and he would look at it . In a matter of hours he had the coil pack and spark plug changed and everything fixed called me to notify me of completion for a mere $115. I was extremely pleasantly surprised and thankful he told me he would leave the key in the vehicle and I can call back Monday and pay which is unheard of for someone only visiting on their second visit . Thank you mr. Kennedy you are my mechanic from now on your service dedication and simple handling of customer service is phenomenal

Only place I'll take my vehicle

Kennedy's is awesome! Lisa checks you in with a smile and is very patient, and VERY knowledgeable!!. I was then called and given a complete explanation of what was wrong with my SUV and what were 'safety' issues and what I could maybe hold off on as I want to trade in my 13 yo SUV come spring and not just dump monies into it. They understood that. I wish I could give 10 stars....I finally have confidence in 'my' new auto repair place. They came highly recommended to me, so I'm respectfully passing on my high recommendation to others!!

Yesterday Dan Kennedy, from the Kennedy’s Auto Repair in Weymouth was such a responsive, honest man. On my way to Boston Dana Farber to take my sister home, (after having a stem cell transplant) I had one last important task to keep my sister safe from germs. I tried to change cabin filter and couldn’t!! With no appointment, i stopped and asked Dan if he could help, with no hesitation he changed the filter within minutes and was on my way!!! He wouldn’t accept any money and told me to go bring my sister home! A guardian angel with a heart of gold! Thank you Dan!!!

The short version: Dan his crews are very honest and professional. I will definitely be with them for the years to come. The longer one: I was new to this area and I was referred to Kennedy's by my friend. Although they appear to have a very good reputation already (according to my friend, my Uber driver took me there and the reviews here), I still want to have my own words out. They got my old subaru very well taken care of. My experience with them is pretty much like the mechanics I had been with back in my old town for many years. Thanks a lot again.

Fair prices and honest service, that's how I'd sum up Kennedy's Auto in Weymouth! Took my Mini Countryman to Kennedy's for a problem with the flywheel. Turned out to be much more - flywheel, clutch, and everything in between. Dan not only took the time to diagnose the issue, but he went above and beyond by continuously calling the warranty company to fight on my behalf for coverage. (most mechanics I've been to will not even inquire about a warranty, just wanting your money and sending you out the door). Because of this, Dan turned what would've been a $2,800 job, into an $1,100 one. For that, I owe him a few drinks!
